The Doggie Doddle Fun Walk for MERGE

                

                 Sunday June 4th 2006 Between 1.30pm—4 30pm (finish)

                    Dalbeattie Forest.  Town Wood Car Park

             

   Free Dog Treat.     Children's Face painting.        Balloons

 

 

There are four circular walks in the forest giving a choice for everybody's needs, plenty of benches along the way for a rest.  Each walk is clearly marked, so nobody should get lost!

 

White Walk  approx  1 mile  Easy with wheelchair access. This easy access walk can be extended (approx 1/4 mile) to the Loch boardwalk and viewing platform.

 

Blue walk To Loch  2 miles  Rougher terrain but possible to take a Childs buggy.

                                                     

Yellow walk  3 miles. Red Walk  3 miles   Details of the walks at the starting point.

 

     Please use the enclosed flyer as a “Poster” from May onwards.

 

This is a Fun day for all the family, children can get their toy dogs sponsored or have a

doggie face paint for a donation.

If you cannot attend on the day there is no reason why you could not take part in the event on another day as near to the official date as possible. Then send your sponsor money in.

The start time is 1.30pm but come along at any time before 4.30pm to get your balloons and free doggie treat etc.

If you are not well enough to take part, perhaps you could come down to the Gazebo at the car park to show your support. 

A collecting box for MERGE will be on hand or you could sponsor someone's dog .

 

On the opposite page are photos of just a few of the dogs taking part.  Their pictures will be going on our web page, if you have a pet taking part, send a photo to Craig and they too can feature on the web page.  People can sponsor on line. More about that on the web site

We are hoping that pet shops will put up posters and have sponsor forms to give out, they will also be available to download from our web site. Watch out for more information in the local papers.

There will be a stall in aid of the D&G ME Network with books and a few other items for sale plus free info leaflets and booklets.
