At our Network meetings the conversation, at  some point, inevitably turns to food.  It therefore seemed like a good idea to hold a meeting while eating!  And as you can see by now a great time was had by all at the

Dumfries Technical College lunch.  The food was of a very high standard, with an

 adventurous menu featuring: smoked salmon chowder; venison in a red wine and chocolate sauce (much tastier than it sounds!); Clementine pancakes with lemon curd ice-cream and a fruit crumble compote.  In fact the sweets were so good some of us simply had to have two!  It was

fantastic value with three full courses and coffee coming to less than £6.

 

The meal was enjoyed so much by all that it was suggested that we hold our Christmas get-together there.  What do you think?  The college also has a training restaurant on their Stranraer campus so if some members from that end of the region would like to hold a meeting give us a shout and we’d be delighted to publicise it in the newsletter.
