The D&G ME Network holds regular meetings and events in the region.

Forthcoming meetings:

An Afternoon at Lochthorn Library
Friday 4th of April 2pm to 4pm, Lochthorn Library, Dumfries

The speaker will be Sylvia McKracken of Arthritis care. She'll be giving us a taste of the courses run by Arthritis care which are suitable for other chrnic illnesses and therefore could be beneficial to ME and FM sufferers. Dr Purdie, our medical adviser is also hoping to attend. The meeting should be informal and friendly and refreshments will be available.

  

 

Dumfries GardenWise Gatherings
These meetings are always held on the first Saturday of the month from 2pm.

The next two are: Saturday the 5th of April and Saturday the 3rd of May.
These gatherings are held in the cafe's conservatory at GardenWise Garden Centre, Castle Douglas Road, Dumfries. If you are coming along for the first time please get in touch so that we can be looking out for you.
This is a great chance to get-together for a blether over a drink or a scone.

 meeting at GardenWise

NEW - Virtual Meeting
Every third Monday from 8.00pm onwards.

The region is so spread out and many are too ill to attend so we will trial a new "virtual meeting" - or an inernet based chat. There are various ways of holding such a meeting, but initially we will trial a Windows Live Messenger (formerly known as MSN) based group meeting. If you do not already have the program in your PC you can download messenger from Microsoft for free.
