The lighthouse is our logo,
To shed a ray of light,
Wish it could penetrate the brainfog,
And make our days more bright.

Welcome to the all new website of the Dumfries and Galloway ME Network.
Here you will find out about who we are, what we do and our ambitions for improved healthcare for ME and FMS sufferers in this region. You will also find details of our forthcoming meetings and events and be able to view the latest edition of our popular newsletter.

The Network was started in May 1999 by a small group of ME/CFS Patients. It has grown to over 250 members by 2007 and is constantly growing with members living in every part of our region. We now also upport for fibromyalgia sufferers in this region.

We are a registered charity and are an independent group which co-operates with other groups in Scotland and and the UK in trying to improve services for people with ME/CFS and FMS.

Three of our committee members also sit on the Dumfries and Galloway Health Boards Stakeholder Group for ME. From that we have achieved the successful Lockerbie Conference, various other events and produced informative literature for patients and clinicians.

The Dumfries and Galloway ME Network is run BY and FOR people with ME/CFS & FMS so we really understand what it feels like to suffer with it.
